Viola L (Ruskay) Simone

Viola L. (Ruskay) Simone, age 94, passed away peacefully at home in Indian Land, SC, on March 7, 2023.  She was a long-time resident of Methuen, MA before moving to New Hampshire and most recently to South Carolina to live with her daughter and granddaughter Taylor so she could be close to her while she is attending university.

Viola was born and educated in Fairfield, CT.  She worked for The Andover Companies for more than 16 years and retired in 1995.  She was a member of the Free Christian Church in Andover, MA. She was also an active member of the Salem Senior Center and the Red Hat Society.  She leaves her love to all the wonderful friends she was grateful for. 

Viola is survived and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two sons, Joseph S., Zachary D. and his wife Kristine and her daughter Claudia A. Simone Trethewey, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three nieces, one nephew and one cousin.  She was predeceased by a brother and three sisters, all of Connecticut and a grandson of New Hampshire.

There will be a graveside burial service to be held a later date at the Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover, MA.
