Russell Lee Workman

Russell Lee Workman, 61, entered his eternal resting place May 2, 2022, surrounded by his lifelong best friends, Clay Henderson and Charlene Brueseke. 

Born in Rock Hill, SC, August 4th, 1960, he was the son of Crawford “CW” and Mary Ruth Workman.  Russell proudly worked as the Assistant Vice President of First Citizens Bank, Richburg where he forged many friendships that lasted throughout his life.

Russell leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Christopher and his wife Meaghan; as well as a little boy and two ladies who called him “Grandpa” and filled his heart immensely, his grandchildren, Cailean “CW” Workman, Allyson Ferguson, and Ryliegh Ferguson. He is also survived by his sister, Deborah (Doug); his brother, Steve (Dianne); his mother, Mary Ruth Workman; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Crawford “CW” Workman; and his sister, Brenda Davis.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Roddey Baptist Church, 2678 S Anderson Road, Catawba, SC 29704 with Pastor Anthony Queen officiating. Visitation immediately following the service.

The family will receive friends at the home, 3028 S. Anderson Road, Catawba, SC 29704.
