Richard Dennis Love, age 70 Passed away at his home Friday, February 12,2021 in York, SC

Richard was Born March 29, 1950 to the late Bill and Virginia Love of Rock Hill, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son Kenneth Blevins.
He was a machinist and welder at Meritor Automotive for 25yrs.

Survivors include his wife Doris Rippy Love of 42 years, one brother Bill and his wife Deborah Love, two daughters: Missy Murphy and her husband Jason, Dana Dalin and her husband David, three sons: John Love and his wife Paula, Jimmy Blevins and his wife Patricia and Steve Blevins. Numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews

He was married to love of his life Doris, together they made many memories even working at Meritor Automotive together for 25yrs. Richard loved the outdoors. In the winter he loved to sit in his sunroom and watch the deer, wild turkeys and birds in his yard while enjoying The South Carolina Gamecocks football and baseball, in his earlier years he enjoyed deer hunting and dirt track or NASCAR races. In the summers he enjoyed camping at his favorite state park Huntington Beach or you may have seen him spending the weekends at Ebenezer Park with friends. He was an active member of Living by Faith Church in York. He was proud of children and grandchildren, he was always bragging on them or showing them off once he mastered his smart phone. Richard enjoyed life to the fullest and always looked for the positive in any situation. When diagnosed with cancer he never complained he turned to his faith and family. in his last days he asked to be with his wife and children to pass away peacefully. We are forever grateful to our Uncle Mike Rippy who has been with us on this journey and by his side just as he requested.
The family will receive visitors at the home 1720 Turkey Creek Rd and at the home of his daughter 1932 Mt Holly Rd Rock Hill.

A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday February 16, 2021 at Grandview Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Rick Sturgis.
