Lynne Diane Young

Lynne Diane Young, “Lynne”, 77, of Rock Hill, SC and formerly of Middletown, NY, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday , January 17, 2021. She was born July 17, 1943 in Middletown , NY, daughter of the late Christian William Bahntge  and Gladys Delvina Royer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Robert Young; her son, William Charles Young; and her sister Joan Bahntge Samuelson. 

Lynne was a sweet and caring person and friend to all, but she was first and foremost a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  

She had a smile and laugh that was infectious and warm. Everyone felt loved in her presence. 

She leaves a lasting legacy to be cherished by her survivors, her son Timothy Robert Young and wife Morgan of Rock Hill, SC; daughter, Heather Young Brabham  and husband , Michael  of Rock Hill, SC; daughter in law, Kimberly Young of Fort Mill, SC;  sister, Bette Maxwell of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Sydney “Rose”Young, Joshua Michael Brabham, Caitlin Victoria Young, Taylor Lynne Brabham, and Austin Robert Young. 

A graveside  service will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Grandview Memorial Park Hollis Lakes. Those who are not able to attend may join our service virtually by liking and following the Palmetto Funeral Group Facebook Page. The live stream will begin at 3:00 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tega Cay Lion’s Club.
