Jean Williams

Jean (Jeanie) Tibbetts Williams entered her eternal resting place April 28th, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Savannah Ga, October 21st, 1942, she was the daughter of Robert and Ann Tibbetts. Jeanie proudly worked at the Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company for over 30 years where she forged many friendships that lasted throughout her life.

Jeanie leaves to cherish her memories, husband Charlie of 59 years, her son Doug, and his wife Mandy, two grandchildren, Matthew Williams (Allee) and Mark Williams, and the two little boys who called her “Nana” and filled her heart immensely, her great grandchildren, Foster and Asher Williams. She is also survived by her sister Susan Tibbetts Ragan (Gary), niece Catherine Ragan of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and nephew Kevin Tibbetts (Kayla) of Gainesville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicky Williams, brother Bob Tibbetts and her sister Judith Tibbetts Croft.

The family would like to graciously thank Jeanie and Charlie’s neighbors; David and Lou Fudge, Bobby and Ann Hargrove, and Ronnie and Alice Every who were diligently by their sides throughout Jeanie’s illness. Also, the dedication from her Hospice Nurse, Lori Daly who not only provided exemplary care but became a true friend to Jeanie.

A modest graveside service will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 6, 2022, at Mt. Holly UMC Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Anyone wishing to attend is welcome. Family will receive friends following the service. Memorials can be made to Mount Holly UMC.
