James Christopher Lucas

James “Christopher” Lucas, 45, of Rock Hill passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2020.

Christopher was born on August 27, 1974 in Rock Hill to Layton M. Lucas, Sr. and Ellen Sue Cunningham Lucas. He was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and attended York Tech studying computer science. Christopher loved riding motorcycles, boating, and fishing. 

He was preceded in death by his mother.

In addition to his father survivors include his two brothers Richard Lucas and wife Arlene of Black Mountain, NC and Layton M. Lucas, Jr and wife Michelle of Florida.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Grandview Memorial Park Hollis Lakes Cemetery.

A livestream of the graveside will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, June 1. The livestream may be found at the Palmetto Funeral Groups Facebook page.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Levine Children’s Hospital.
