Obituary
Carol Anne Nelson of Fort Mill, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023
Born in Uniontown PA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Helen. Scabareti. She graduated from West Mifflin South high school in West Mifflin PA.
Carol began her career as owner of a card and gift store The Corner Shop in Munhall PA. She then pursued interior decorating and C.A. Nelson interior designs.
She was an active member of the Amity, Presbyterian Church in Dravosburg, Pennsylvania. In recent years she was also an active member of the Unity presbyterian Church in Fort Mill, SC
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, RK, Robert Nelson. She is survived by her son, RK P Nelson, daughter, Kellie Nelson (Amanda) and grandsons, Andy and Mateo Nelson.
A memorial service will be held in the sanctuary of Unity Presbyterian Church in Fort Mill, SC at 11 AM Friday, March 17. A reception will follow
In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in her name to the Humane Society of York County at the American Heart Association
