Rock Hill, SC - Carol Christine Dabney Massey, 88, and according to John 3:16 stepped over into everlasting life, on Sunday, May 5, 2023.
Memorial services are 12:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Shield of Faith Church in Rock Hill, S.C.
Born in Washington DC, she is the daughter of the late Garnett Edward Dabney and Ina Louise Carter Ginter. She was a devoted wife to Clifton (Jack) Jackson Massey Sr., for 63 years.
Surviving are her son, Clifton (Cliff) Jackson Massey and his wife, Faye Massey of Rock Hill; two daughters, Carol Ann Williams and her husband, Steven T. Williams Sr. of Rock Hill and Andrea Ladonna Boyea and her husband, Thomas G. Boyea of Nichols, S.C.; six brothers, John E. Dabney II of Ridgewood, N.J., Thomas G. Dabney of Beaufort, S.C., Dennis L. Dabney of Columbia, S.C., Peter J. Ginter of Colorado, Michael C. Ginter of Alaska and Charles F. Ginter of Kansas; three sisters, Lillian Ginter Dennis of Texas, Marlene Ginter Lang of Kansas and Nancy Dabney Dieffenbach of Wilmington, N.C.; 12 Grandchildren; 27 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Massey; her son, Donald Keith Massey; her daughter, Wanda Renee’ Love; her Grandson, Thomas, G. Boyea, II, and her brother Stanley J Ginter.
