Betty Louise (Humbarger) Geisler

Betty Louise Humbarger Geisler, 75, of Fort Mill, S.C., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 20, 2024. She was born on February 22, 1949, in Lansing, Michigan to the late Larry and Mary Humbarger.

Betty married the love of her life Marvin Henry Geisler on August 26, 1977. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Family was very important to her along with her faith in God. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Lansing, Michigan along with being a member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Charlotte, N.C. She loved traveling with Marvin during the summers that they had off so much that in 1996 they sold their home in Statesville, bought an RV and traveled the country full time.  Betty lived for the word of God, by the word of God and rejoiced in the word of God.  The unanimous voices say her favorite hobby was saving money.  

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by the following siblings: Caroline Oxendale, Phylis Cauble, Larry Humbarger, Norman Humbarger, Don Humbarger, Diane Humbarger Vance, and David Humbarger.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Marvin Henry Geisler; sister, Darlene Humbarger Bracy: daughters, Gina G. Mitchell (Steven), Kim Engel (Tim); sons, Steven Geisler, James Geisler (Lorie) and Scott Geisler (Dawn). She had eleven grandchildren: Peyton Geisler (Madison), Kaitlin Geisler, James Woodall, Savanna Woodall, Brandon Geisler (Kristen), Logan Geisler (Sarah), Jakob Engel, Katherine Engel-Carlyle (Jake), Hannah Geisler Hamilton (Shane), Jalen Geisler and Jackson Geisler. She also had two great grandchildren: Bailey Elkins and Eva Engel-Carlyle.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, at All Saints Lutheran Church with Rev. Jeffrey Ware officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00pm until service time.

There will be a reception at the church following the service. We invite you all to attend. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and family friends. The burial will be at a later date.
