Fort Mill – Mr. Arthur Larry Hubbard, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at his home.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at The Fort Mill Church of God Chapel at 221 Academy Street in Fort Mill, SC 29715.
A native of Mecklenburg County, NC, Mr. Hubbard was a son of the late Arthur Hubbard and Margaret Loucille Taylor Hubbard. He was a member of the Fort Mill Church of God. He was employed with the Fort Mill Police Department for 33 years where he worked as a Desk Sergeant. Larry loved to read and had a Christian Heart. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Doris Giles Hubbard; a brother-in-law, L.D. Giles; a sister-in-law; Yvonne Giles; nieces, Sharon Archie, Donna Cooper, Shelia Goff, Annilea Giles; and nephews, Billy Ray Harris, Jeff Giles, Jamie Giles, Colton Giles, Alex Giles, Chase Giles, Garrett Cooper, George Cooper, and David Lee Archie.
